WALL-E a hit among kids, adults alike
JUST IN time for the summer blockbuster season, the long-awaited Disney-Pixar movie “WALL-E” made its box office debut this past week to the delight of movie goers of all ages. A slew of animated films have become big hits in recent years. A countless number of them have gone along with the trend of featuring talking animals, and most have demonstrated the amazing advances in digital animation. But the Pixar Animation Studio has managed to stay a cut above the rest. Movies like “Toy Story,” “Monsters Inc.,” “Finding Nemo,” “The Incredibles,” “Cars” and “Ratatouille,” have built a solid reputation for Pixar, which has remained on the cutting edge of digital imagery while maintaining a story line worthy of a Disney Pictures label.
